Radiation Emergency Medical Management (REMM) website operated by the Department of Health and Human Services

This estimator provides three means (time to onset of vomiting, lymphocyte depletion kinetics, and Dicentric Chromosome Assay) of estimating the absorbed dose of casualties exposed to ionizing radiation after a radiation incident.

REMM Tool to Determine Triage Category and Myeloid Cytokine Use after a Nuclear Detonation

The goals of this tool are to recommend triage categories for managing very large numbers of victims with injury, burns and/or radiation exposure based on patient factors, availability of resources at the medical center where it is used, recommend priorities for using white cell (myeloid) cytokines when availability of this drug is limited by the number of patients who might need it and provide the greatest good to the greatest number of patients using fair and ethical principles.
